The Lobby is where your participants will gather before your webinar. Each role (Host, Producer, Speaker, Moderator, Audience) can have a different setting allocated. For example you may want all your Team (Producers) and Speakers to be able to join the meeting directly, but you want your audience to wait until you are ready to start your webinar.
This can be enabled from the account centre and in-meeting:

Go to Webinar > Settings > Permisssions > Lobby:
In-Meeting
Go to Audiences then select the cog wheel
Note: If you have the Lobby (also referred to as the waiting room) switched on for the start of your event, you will still need to admit participants using 'Accept All' for your audience to join. Once everyone has joined you can then turn Lobby on/off as required.
As a use case example, many hosts choose to use the Lobby until they are ready to start their event, which is when they select 'Accept All' and everyone enters the room. They then 'Turn Lobby Off' so that any latecomers, or those that leave and rejoin can join the session directly, without the host having to admit them.
