Hapony provides four different layouts which can be used in-meeting across Rooms, Meetings and Webinars. You can let your audience choose what layout they want, or you can lock the layout for everyone - you choose! Each layout performs differently dependent on if you are also using the content library or screen sharing, so its best to experiment and discover the best mode for your use case.

To choose the layout you require select the layouts icon at the top of the screen.

You can then select the layout you want to use. If you wish your audience to also see the same layout as you then as a host be sure to select 'Sync layout' - which locks the layout for everyone in that session.

Tiled

The default layout (as above), where all video tiles are displayed 16:9 landscape, whether you are running a meeting with just people onscreen or presenting with one person and content.

Presentation

In this mode video is portrait shape next to content, which is great for maximising the screen space you have. If more than one person is onscreen then the video would fill the space to the right with two portrait/squares, if 3 they would resize again to fit, and so on...

This mode also present speakers side by side onscreen when hosting panel discussions.

Thumbnail

This mode minimizes video tiles, providing more space for the audience to see the screen you are presenting.

Fullscreen

When you wish to hide all video tiles, but still be heard when presenting via the content library or screen share.

You may wish to have a meeting or Webinar automatically start with a certain layout. For example, a presentations with slides loaded into your content library you would most probably want to use 'Presentation' mode. To set this per session go to Settings > Branding. Be sure to 'Save changes' and 'Republish Webinar'.

Recording will follow the default layout set and then the host that uses 'Sync layout'. So if you use 'Sync Layout' during a session, the recording will capture this, recording the view that you are sharing with the audience.
